2 TFT screens …

With a nice color match.

GPS placed above the Dashboard …

Easy to see without moving your eyes away from the road.

Installing new GPS …

Hooking it up so it turns on and off with the bike.

Exhaust installed …

Superior sound – really deep rumble, but not too loud.

New exhaust just arrived …

Titanium Wings Exhaust from Slovenia – Outstanding build quality !

Air intake dust filters …

Looks cool and will probably prevent thousand of insects in the air intake mesh.

Tank pads …

To prevent the tank being scratched by my knees.  Nice Italian design that blends into the bike and adds a little bling 🙂

Puig add-on windscreen.

The original windscreen is high enough to protect the upper body from wind and weather, and can be adjusted to an even higher position.  But for my height (187 cm) there was always a lot of wind noise (wind turbulence) around my helmet – no matter how I adjusted the screen.  The small Puig wind […]

Birthday card …

From my daughter – could you wish for more ?

Tank bag installed …

Great quality – made for KTM by SW-Motech.

Installing tank ring …

For the KTM tank bag.

Cobrra Nemo 2 …

Chain oiler.  Simple and brilliant. Just turn the lid 90 degrees every 200 km to lube the chain.  The system is simple to install and as it is a pressurized feed (when you twist the lid), you are in control of the amount of oil going to the chain. (All the gravity feed systems have […]

Chain oiler …

Feed tube indtalled.  You can just see the end of the special homemade bracket. Proper installation of aftermarket parts is always time consuming to do properly.

Mmmmmm – brackets …

For the chain oiler. This one is to route the oiler feed tube to the rear sprocket.

Installing the BoosterPlug …

First time I had the tank off the KTM 1290. It took 30 minutes, but the process was reasonably straight forward, and everything is well made under the covers.  Installing the BoosterPlug was simple and low speed power and throttle control is improved.

Side stand extension …

Larger footprint prevents the sidestand to sink into the ground and thereby saves the bike from tipping over.  Mandatory equipment !

Tank protection …

To avoid my knees scratching the tank.

Action camera …

I decided on the Polariod Cube+ because it’s simple to operate (even on the move) waterproof without additional casing, small and light, and relatively inexpensive.
